| In 1870 Hiram Codd invented the Codd Bottle. His bottle was sealed by a glass marble, held in position by the pressure of the gas in the liquid. A number of corkscrews were later produced to incorporate a codd opener as well as the corkscrew. A simple corkscrew with codd opener will cost you around £25.00 |
