I have some good & bad news for all you avid corkscrew collectors out there.
Firstly, the good news. The BBC have filmed a feature on corkscrews that will be broadcast on their
popular antiques show Flog it!
Now the bad news. You'll have to put up with watching me.
The feature is presented by the lovely Kate Alcock, who is also a regular on another BBC antique show,
Bargain Hunt. Kate & all the BBC crew made me feel very comfortable on the set & I have to admit, I
really enjoyed gassing on about my twisted hobby & hopefully you'll enjoy the feature, which I believe will
be around 6 minutes in duration.
It was filmed on Thursday, 21st October 2004 at Denbies Winery in Dorking, Surrey & is due to be
broadcast on 4th May 2005 at 3.30 p.m. on BBC2. This could be subject to change but that's the date
